So you want to watch the-latest movies, but you don't want to go to the theater or wait for it to hit Red Box. What options are left? Watch the films online...of course!

With the economy in that tank like it's today, most people cannot justify going to the theater since they once did, although the requirement for entertainment is still high. The web has afforded a lower cost solution for folks to be able to watch movies online before they come out on DVD, in many instances, while they may be still in the theater. You could think it's expensive, but the truth be told, it is a whole lot less expensive than going to the theater and you'll find added bonuses that many do not usually think of.

You can find several different sites that allow for this sort of movie watching at a reduced cost. You can usually watch trailers and shorts at no cost at all. Remember those added bonuses? Here's a couple of them. For starters, you don't have to be worried about the whining kid three rows back whenever you watch movies online within the privacy of your own home. You should not have to get dressed up or fight the traffic to get to the theater on time only to discover that the film is already sold out or that the paper printed the wrong time for the showing.

You can eat what you want without the outrageous prices of movie theater concessions. You do not have to silence your smartphone. If you get a call in the middle of the movie you may decide to let the call go to voice mail or you can pause the flick and take the call. You've got the freedom to do what you want, whenever you want, and the way you want.

Should the action star does something outstanding and you just can not believe it, back up the movie and watch it again. After all you are watching the film online within your own home, it is up to you! If you choose an alternative genre, like a romantic comedy you don't have to suffer over the squealing of all the adolescent girls when the hunk 'saves the day', nor do you should keep yourself from getting sick watching the young couple in front of you tickle each other's tonsils.

On many of the sites you can also watch television shows. You don't have to be worried about missing the latest episode of your favorite show; you can watch it when you want to. Even when you don't subscribe to the television channel that hosts your show, it's online. Watch it when you want to, on your terms.

Watching all sorts of media online is a very freeing experience. As soon as you are in control of the film watching experience, and not the box office, or even the theater, you might not want to go back. Sure there are actually some movies that may only be enjoyed on the big screen. At least that is what 'they' want you to think. Explore the possibilities of online movies and television. You might be amazed at the affordability, but be warned, the freedom can be addictive.
